Pagent Day at Volterra. The day is almost over and vigour is waning. All around people are dog tired and are resting their legs in readiness for the long trawl over the hill to the out of town car parks. My arms are so tired I have to rest one over my wife's shoulders. My Olympus is angled towards a family that have grouped together on a set of steps. Click - wind - click - wind - click. Thats better, my arms are all rested, I can move on again.
The framing missed to the top left. I did capture the essential elements of the image I was after but a large empty area let the image down. Some images will work with a large empty space but this one didn't.

However, I did capture some good human interest. I particulary like the expression of the girl on the left looking longingly at the dog, as I like the expressions of the two dogs in the picture.

Not only are the people tired but the dogs are decidedly knackered after a long day's drag. The vacant expressions of the other two people show that they may be looking out for a lost family member.
