This is West Quay in Southampton. It shows shoppers that have taken a break and sitting down in the restaurant at Marks and Spencers. The window is actually curved but my choice of lens made it appear to curve more.
I used a tripod and bracketed the shot about a meter reading taken when the frame had half of the illuminated window in it. The metered reading was 1/8 at f11. The longer than normal exposure time meant that the centre of the shop needed some burning in to extract a little more detail.

The shoppers are mostly static so an 1/8 sec exposure is OK. I took other shots when people were walking across the frame outside the window. However, it was a cold day and they were all walking too fast to get a decent blur shot (i.e. too blurred).

The thing I like about this image is the symmetry of the curves and the highlight reflections on the pillars and glass. I will have to experiment more along these lines in the buildings module.
